These ukuleles will increase student engagement in the music classroom, give all students the opportunity to be hands-on with a new instrument. It will give students immediate success with playing one chord songs, give students an opportunity to increase self confidence by performing for their teachers and peers. Most importantly, it gives students another way to find joy in music. It is very hard not to smile and play the ukulele! My goal in my music classroom is to help my students find joy in music and these ukuleles can be just another way that I can accomplish that goal.

About my class
