The students at my school are provided with a variety of learning opportunities. We have many enrichment classes as well as academic classes that help many struggling students. We were recently named an A+ school receiving a excelling label. With that being said, we are a title 1 school with 62% of students on free and reduced lunch. Most of the students in my classroom come from a lower social-economic background and are being raised by single parents and/or grandparents. Many are English Language Learners that are struggling to learn the language. For most families, education is not a priority and many do not see the value of it.
