My 5th and 6th graders are at a very transitional stage in life where they are very much children, but are expected to sit for longer periods of time. Having flexible seating allows them to get some of the wiggles that they naturally have out of their systems, while helping them maintain focus throughout class. These wiggle stools will be especially beneficial to my ADD/ADHD students as they will be able to get some of their extra energy out while sitting on them, and in turn be able to concentrate better on their school work!
