Flexible seating and certain fidget tools are a great way to increase learning in my classroom. My students are very active and love having the opportunity to work together and take responsibility for their choices. These materials will help me give them those opportunities more often and I will be able to offer them a greater variety of work spaces.
There are times when sitting still at a desk trying to listen to a teacher talk doesn't work for a student. Some of my students need a table where they can stand and follow my directions. Some need something in their hands to release their energy so they can focus on the task at hand. Some just need a change of setting along with work transitions to help them stay engaged.
This way, the challenges they face on their academic journey will be conquered with confidence since they get to be themselves! The students will be so grateful. I greatly appreciate all support given to this project!
