Hello! I'm Rachael Pringle and I teach 7th/8th Grade ELA at Fitler Academics Plus. I am heading into my thirteenth year as a teacher, all of which have been spent at Fitler in the Germantown section of Philadelphia. I started out teaching 5th grade for three years, looped with my class into 6th grade and looped again into 7th grade. I remained in 7th for three years and then began teaching both 7th/8th grade ELA. At Fitler, I am the lead teacher in our Middle Years Academy. I work with two other highly motivated, dedicated, and passionate professionals as we welcome 85-90 students every year. As a teacher, I believe in teaching my students how to think, not what to think. My classroom is always bustling with activity, debate, and cooperative learning. I moved into an inquiry-based teaching model two-years ago, with a focus on, "Be the Change". I hope you will find my projects intriguing!
