"Ugh! I hate school!" Hearing this from students breaks my heart. Traditional seating is party to blame. I mean who wants to sit in a chair for 7 hours a day??
Students want a home away from home. They want to be comfortable while they are learning or practicing. My students need a flexible way to do this and the easiest way is to change up their seating.
The best way to motivate students and bring back their love for learning is to provide different seating areas they can sit throughout the day. This also helps the, when they enter then"real world".
