My students are a wonderful group of learners in a special education/regular ed setting that enjoys everything about education. From problem solving skills to life skills, the children are eager to learn. The school's atmosphere is always set for learning. Children have the opportunity to engage in teacher-led activities as well as peer-led groups. Our school atmosphere welcomes children with special difficulties offering full access to the curriculum through inclusion/coteaching programs and innovative opportunities. The children learn through hands-on activities, technology, reading, researching, science activities, and small groups. Some of the disabilities within our classroom consist of Autism, Specific Learning Disabilities, Sign Language, Other Health Impairments, Fine/Motor Skills difficulties, and Speech difficulties.
