Thank you for taking your time to learn more about my classroom! We are Mrs. Huggins' Heroes where I believe, "No dreamer is ever too small; no dream is ever too big!" I currently teach the English portion of the Kindergarten Dual Language program at Everglades Elementary. My students are eager to learn through hands-on, active, and engaging activities. I truly believe in Gardner's Theory of Multiple Intelligences, that all children learn differently and have strengths in areas across the spectrum. I have taught Kindergarten for 13 years and my favorite part is seeing how much my 5 and 6 year olds grow throughout the school year.
As part of the Dual Language program, I have the opportunity to educate 36 children each day. It is a rigorous program where the students learn the core curriculum in both English and Spanish. Students must be very motivated and it is my challenge to make learning FUN!
