Our classroom is comprised of 10 students with Autism in an inner-city district of Connecticut. Resources are limited, and our ability to implement strategies to enhance reading and comprehension have been difficult. Our commitment to improving literacy skills is foremost in our instruction. We have strive to be creative with the resources we do have to accommodate the students.
