These hard-cover books will encourage students to read! Because of the characters and themes of these books, they have the potential to connect with my diverse students on a deeper level. Adding these books to our classroom library would provide more engaging texts that meet students at their current level while inspiring them to explore! My hope is that these children will begin to see themselves as people with unlimited potential. The diversity of this classroom requires adaptive literacy strategies, and my hope is that these books will help my students learn that reading can be a magical, fun experience.
