My school is a Title I school with an ethnically and culturally diverse population. My students are filled with enthusiasm and a strong desire to learn. Many have had limited exposure to stories/texts or experiences composing and performing their own stories. Over half of our students are native speakers of languages other than English and are simultaneously learning our language while also learning to read and write. My children have so much potential and I want to provide as many positive experiences as possible to guide them towards success.
