My name is Trina Scanapico, and I currently teach 2nd grade at a highest poverty school located in Airway Heights, WA.
Many of my students come from social-economically disadvantaged homes and are on the Free and Reduced Lunch Program. Despite their hardships, my students come to school eager to learn new things everyday. Their resilience amazes me. My goal is to provide a positive learning environment where all students can learn and be successful. I want to provide my students with the tools to grow up to be confident and capable citizens.
