Oh lovely Florida where the sun provides ample learning opportunities throughout the school year, but when the sun goes away it leads to improvisation. Hurricanes are a factor that leads us to either come inside to teach or worst case miss school days. Some of the equipment we would like would help us stay active indoors and be a great help to learn new things such as Yoga, practicing stretching techniques and explore ways to workout indoors.
Lifetime Fitness is the Goal but you cannot do it without the proper tools. For our students to be successful at playing games such as Pickleball where the age ranges from 6-65+ students need exposure and we would not be able to do this without you. It is a low impact activity mixing tennis and table tennis that is played around the world and closer to home at your local YMCA.
Exposing students to untraditional games would greatly help our diverse group of students. We aim to engage and teach new activities so participation can increase in all aspects of life. We cannot do this without you thank you for your time and support.
