My students are Amazing, Unique, Terrific, Inspirational, Sensational and Marvelous - they also all have autism. Whether it's their communication, sensory needs, fine motor or academics, they all need help with all of the items we do in our classroom. Each student is unique and each student learns differently. We use many platforms and get very creative on how to keep their attention. It's hard for them to focus yet they are able to do so when we teach differently and creatively. It's a big part of our classroom and as the school year progresses, we see so much growth in so many areas. We also need to keep changing how we do things and that can get costly. Our school is in a poverty part of our city and budgets for funding isn't always there. With your help, we can do so much more to help them progress each and every day!
