I am in a co-teaching class, with one other teacher and thirty students. Our kids are full of life, energy, enthusiasm, and love, although, many may face adversity by living in a low income area. Our school is a Title 1 school located in an area that is considered transient. Therefore many of our students have moved a number of times in order for their family to find work and housing. Out of 30 students we have 20+ students who are new to the school and area. Due to the area growing in population our school has exceed the amount of students it was built for and therefore our class is in the old music room which lacks a bathroom and windows.
Although our school is only 4 years old we still lack basic supplies.
