Hello! I just recently started teaching 2nd Grade ELA at a wonderful Gifted Magnet school. Unlike some schools, like the Title I school that I came from, my school does not receive extra funding. Extra funding that could help support technology in the classrooms, which is near and dear to my heart. These "babies" at my school love to learn and I am excited to teach them.
I have been teaching for 13 years. Each year is different. We get a new group of kids each year with different personalities and different wants and needs. It is very exciting and scary. All that I want to do as a teacher is inspire and have fun doing it.
I started my Donors Choose account with the hopes of getting funding to add technology into my classroom. These students are growing up in a technological world and we need to give them all of the opportunities, that we can, to try different things and be well versed in the different forms.
