Our classroom is made up of 11 energetic kindergarten and first grade boys, many of who are experiencing school for the first time. They enjoy hands on and engaging experiences whether that is academic or sensory. I am continually inspired by the energy and joy my students bring into the classroom each and every day.
My classroom is an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) classroom for students who have mild/moderate autism. The ultimate goal for each and every student is to have them integrated into their general education classrooms as much as possible. The objective of our ASD program is to help give students the tools they need to be successful and independent with their peers in the general education and community setting.
When you make a donation to our classroom family you are supporting the independence and success of students who have autism.
