I am in the midst of my 6th year of teaching 3rd grade in a Title 1 school. Our students come from low income families with many social issues. Despite all of this, many of them tell me frequently how much the enjoy coming to school. School is a place where they come to be encouraged and challenged to meet their full potential. I take my responsibility as an educator very seriously and will go to great lengths to ensure that all of their needs are met to the best of my ability.
