Students enter second-grade with a wide range of educational needs. In any given year I could have students at Level-K to Level-4 reading; the same goes for math. This requires a wide range of differentiation and targeted instruction for students; not always possible without extra support and materials. This project will allow me, as a teacher, to target individual needs through the use of technology that is not otherwise accessible in our classroom. Students who are struggling will get extra targeted support. Students who are ready for challenges will be given extra opportunities to be challenged. These tablets will give an extra boost that will help every student reach their full potential.
