Our students come from one of the nicer neighborhoods within a low-income district. Many of them have access to technology, yet others still do not. Our school tries to support the need for students to become fluent in technology, but as with many realities, funding presents a problem in acquiring the desired equipment. Currently, I have 32 computers available in my classroom for 32 students. But without the use of good quality headphones students cannot complete their interactive projects/programs or watch education videos since there is no sound available except through the use of headphones.
