The materials and supplies I am requesting will empower my students to explore the world and how it works. Time in my classroom to learn about the world through connections to reading and social studies are some of my scholars favorite moments of the day! Using dry erase maps, my students will be able to identify and locate the cities, states, and countries discussed during our social studies lessons. The TIME for KIDS subscription will serve as an excellent resource to provide students with access to current events. Students will also be given time to interact and explore the maps and puzzles independently to make new connections and inquiries about the world.
Giving my kids access to maps and magazines will plant seeds in their souls to be lifelong explorers and inquirers.
Learning about current events and geography allows my students to think critically about the world and their role in becoming future leaders and problem solvers!
