With the materialsI I have requested, I can create a learning environment that fosters creativity, questioning, and exploration in my classroom. When students are comfortable while independently reading they will enjoy reading more, students who read more become better readers! That's one huge reason I would love these materials.
I can picture seeing my students working in collaborative groups, gleefully reading books they love, working on challenging math problems while able to bounce around and move.
My students will be able to choose what they need for their best learning environment. If I can give them a choice I am helping to foster independent successful learners.
Students who need to move while learning can use balance balls. Students who aren’t being pulled for a guided learning group can get comfy in a beanbag chair while getting lost in their favorite book. Some students may want to grab a lap desk and learn closer to the board with a floor seat. All of these materials will allow me to meet my students with different needs.
