I teach literacy to 2nd and 3rd graders in Washington, at an urban elementary school. Our students come from a high-needs community, with more than three-quarters of the students receiving free or reduced lunch. Many of the students have very limited supplies and resources at home, but they are eager to learn and reach new heights!
