My students are in a high poverty area, where most cannot afford basic school supplies such as color pencils. Our class uses color pencils to color code everything. Students are good at sharing, but that takes away time from our learning. My ESL students also benefit a lot from small group interventions where an easel will benefit them, along with a color printer. My students are visual learners and if If I was able to color print things for my students it will show them more real life situations. We see pictures every day and relate to real life situations. They need more basic things in order to be successful.
