The new books you provided have transformed the way reading looks and feels in our classroom. My students now walk into our reading block excited, confident, and ready to explore stories that reflect their interests and identities. Because of the wide variety of texts, we've been able to introduce new reading skills such as analyzing character motivations, making deeper inferences, and comparing themes across genres — skills that many of my students struggled with before having access to engaging, high-quality literature.\r\n\r\nOne of the biggest changes I've seen is how independent reading time has evolved. Students who previously wandered or avoided reading now settle quickly with books they genuinely enjoy. Several students have begun finishing books faster than I can restock our shelves, and they proudly share recommendations with each other during our \"book talk\" moments. One of my hesitant readers, who once told me she \"didn't like reading,\" now asks if she can take books home because she \"just has to know what happens next.\"\r\n\r\nThere are also particular students who have developed a genuine love for specific series and authors because of this project. One student has become captivated by fantasy stories and has started writing his own short chapters during free time. Another student, who struggled with comprehension early in the year, has shown tremendous growth now that she has access to texts written at her level but still exciting and age-appropriate. These books have given her the confidence to participate more in discussions and even volunteer to read aloud — something she never would have done before.\r\n\r\nYour support has not only filled our shelves but has breathed new life into our literacy block. My students now see themselves as readers, thinkers, and storytellers. Thank you for believing in them and investing in their education. Your kindness continues to make a daily difference in our classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1755697040798,"projectUrl":"project/4th-grade-book-club-that-inspires-a-love/9418818/","projectTitle":"4th Grade Book Club That Inspires a Love of Reading!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Hardy","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-6_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10043710"},{"teacherId":5262067,"projectId":6944039,"letterContent":"Thanks to your generous support, our classroom was filled with excitement the moment we unboxed our new math resources!
