The freestanding whiteboards have replaced smaller shower boards that my students had been working on previously. Because of the change to easels, my students have been more willing and more able to collaborate on tasks. \r\n\r\nEach of my groups works around an easel on a problem to try to collaboratively launch into content before any direct instruction. I have seen on multiple occasions that my students were able to discover the content before I even spoke a word about instruction. This has allowed for higher retention of material and greater transfer of ideas from one unit to the next.\r\n\r\nI have thoroughly enjoyed changing my teaching style this year and it wouldn't have happened without the generous donations from you.
