I even have a couple of students argue and fight over certain colors! \r\n\r\nThe sensory stripes are used for students who need a fidget but are distracted by the toy type fidgets. These stripes have allowed them to fidget at their desks to help them focus and stay on task. This allows them to stay focused and on task. They enjoy these small fidgets. \r\n\r\nOur playdoh is used quiet often. Because of your generosity I was able to acquire a scene for each child (10 students) to use simultaneously! Your support has made a tremendous impact on our students and will help foster their creativity in ways that words cannot fully capture. \r\n\r\nThe supplies you donated; smocks, model magic clay, hand painting trays, watercolors, watercolor paper, and fidget toys, are already being put to good use, and the students are absolutely thrilled to have access to all of these new supplies. It's because of thoughtful and caring individuals like you that we can provide our students with the resources they need to explore their artistic talents and express themselves in new and exciting ways. Our students have taken a particular interest in the smocks you have sent. Not only do they keep them clean while their imaginations run wild, but they are also new and different for our students. The modeling magic clay has been used to make Christmas ornaments in art for about 400 students. The watercolors have had quite the adventure already as well. We had a teamwork unit where we built a city as a school. The Kindergarten students used watercolors and watercolor paper to create a beautiful rainbow road. While Kindergarten has been using the watercolors first grade has been utilizing the hand-painting trays to make finger-painted automobiles for our city as well. \r\n\r\nYour kindness not only benefits our art program, but it also helps instill a sense of community and sharing among our students. They are learning not only how to create beautiful artwork but also the importance of giving and supporting one another.\r\n\r\nThank you once again for your generosity and commitment to enriching the educational experience for our students. Your donation is truly appreciated, and we are excited to see how it will inspire our young artists.\r\n\r\nThank you!!\r\n\r\nAlly Seriani (Miss Seriani) & Aaliyah Ingram (Miss Ingram) from Ayres Elementary","fullyFundedDate":1729104454627,"projectUrl":"project/every-child-is-an-artist/8767079/","projectTitle":"Every Child Is an Artist","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Seriani","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9743804_orig.jpg?crop=3024,3024,x618,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1726163464257","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9743804"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_42746","usesÐǿմ«Ã½":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":385,"numTeachers":30,"percentFrplEligible":65,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":65,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":29,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 2","studentTeacherRatio":"12.8:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"TOWN","ncesMetroType":"TOWN_REMOTE"},"inStateSupporters":80.3,"schoolId":42746,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Ayres Elementary School on @Ðǿմ«Ã½:","schoolName":"Ayres Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/colorado/valley-school-district-re-1/ayres-elementary-school/42746"}
