This week we will learn all about pumpkins. After we carve our classroom pumpkin, we will use our sensory tables for the students to see and touch the different parts of a pumpkin. It's simply the best! It's got so many functions, and we continue to find more ways to use it. We also use the large rings to hold our easel paper where we do many whole group projects, including dotting and painting.\r\n\r\nThe easel is the center of our morning meeting. We use the small ledge to hold our individual photos, as well as to hold the big books we've been reading daily. It's so multipurpose! On the back side of the easel, there is \"lined paper\" on the white board. Soon, we will begin to use this side to practice tracing our letters and names.
