The cartridges' prices have also doubled! Thank you for providing us with these materials.\r\n\r\nThroughout the school year, my students also have several opportunities to work individually or in groups to complete learning that integrates the writing process. My students are now able to publish their final assignments in color, using the requested ink cartridges. Sometimes, they like to use markers to color projects. They have been able to reference anchor charts using the reference organizer. Every morning, students gather together for stories, vocabulary talks, and collaborative discussions. This shared space has helped them feel safe, connected, and excited to learn beside one another. One of my favorite moments so far was watching a group of students use the rug during a read-aloud to practice turning-and-talking in English and in their home languages. They were so proud to teach each other new words!\r\n\r\nThe literacy games have also been a huge hit. Students use them during small-group rotations to practice phonics, sentence building, and sight words. These hands-on materials make language learning fun, and I've already seen students who were hesitant readers become more engaged and confident because the activities feel like play.\r\n\r\nOf course, the pencils, markers, and classroom essentials have ensured that every child has what they need. No one has to share a single pencil or feel embarrassed about not having supplies. That sense of belonging and readiness has made a noticeable difference in participation and creativity.\r\n\r\nStudent reactions\r\nStudents immediately asked to try the literacy games, and one student said, \"This is my favorite kind of reading!\"","fullyFundedDate":1755116879560,"projectUrl":"project/success-starts-here-essentials-for-ever/9514793/","projectTitle":"Success Starts Here: Essentials for Every Learner","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Rosa","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8157455_orig.jpg?crop=2065,2065,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1754431211900","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8157455"},{"teacherId":48738,"projectId":9697411,"letterContent":"Thank you for funding this project!\r\n\r\nMy students are energetic and enthusiastic learners.
