The new headphones with microphones have been a game-changer for my students, allowing them to fully engage in online programs like Flocabulary, SuccessMaker, and READ 180. These platforms help strengthen their reading, comprehension, and vocabulary skills—and now, with their own headsets, students can concentrate better and complete activities independently and confidently.\r\n\r\nThe students are especially excited about the new tech—they love having their own headsets and feel more grown-up and empowered when using them. It's been incredible to watch some of my quieter students blossom with these tools. One student in particular, who was often shy in group settings, has started participating more during reading activities thanks to the privacy and focus the headphones provide.\r\n\r\nAdditionally, the microphone for me has been a true gift. Teaching all day was taking a toll on my voice, but now I can project clearly without strain. The phone camera stand has also opened up new ways for us to showcase learning, from filming virtual presentations to capturing hands-on projects. These additions have not only supported academic growth but have brought excitement and creativity into our classroom.
