Because of your support, my students and I now have a fully stocked set of forensic science materials that have completely changed the way we learn in our classroom.\r\n\r\nWhen the boxes arrived, the excitement in the room was contagious. I unpacked everything and showed them how it worked, one student exclaimed, \"It's like we're in a real crime lab!\" They think it's cool to use the same materials and supplies that real forensic professionals use.\r\n\r\nWe have used these supplies in a mock crime scene in class. Students worked together to gather evidence, dust for fingerprints, and piece together clues. It was amazing to watch them take on the roles of forensic scientists, asking thoughtful questions and debating theories. These hands-on activities have made science feel real and exciting, and I've seen students who were once quiet in class suddenly take the lead in group investigations.\r\n\r\nYour donation goes so much further than just this year and it means we have the tools to keep exploring new forensic science projects for years to come. Thank you for giving my students the chance to see themselves as scientists. Your kindness has made a real difference in our classroom, and we're so grateful for you.","fullyFundedDate":1742265052050,"projectUrl":"project/hands-on-forensic-science-building-futu/9077211/","projectTitle":"Hands-On Forensic Science: Building Future Crime Scene Investigators","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Beihl","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9449309_orig.jpg?crop=1490,1490,x0,y213&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1737554722162","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/jbeihl"},{"teacherId":9637089,"projectId":8594796,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for the calculators this year. This really helped the students get ready for their EOC that they need to graduate. The previous calculators were getting old and outdated and we didn't have enough of them. \r\n\r\nMany of my students have interesting home lives where the emphasis is not always on education. By providing us with calculators students have been able to consistently practice math and get a better understanding of topics. I know had you not donated that many students would simply not try because they \"don't have a calculator.\" \r\n\r\nI know this letter is late and I apologize but I did not have a planning period this year and was constantly trying to balance work and home life.
