When my students first saw the materials, they were blown away by your generosity and so excited that all these materials got to stay in our classroom for their use. These materials are used in so many different ways throughout the day. \r\n\r\nMany students choose to use them first thing in the morning when they get to school. This open inquiry allows them to be creative and use problem solving skills. Some students prefer to work alone and many students like to partner up and work with others. Students also love to use them during choice time.\r\n\r\nWe have also been using these materials to support specific science and engineering standards as students work through the engineering design process. They know that they need to first identify a problem or challenge they are going to work on and then come up with an idea on how to solve it. These hands-on materials are giving students quick feedback and lots of learning opportunities to discover that failure is part of the learning process and each time they try they are learning something new.\r\n\r\nThank you so very much for your support.
