They work hard to get done so they can go get them. \r\nAt first, my students were excited to dig into new toys. Then I noticed the conversations these bins were generating in my classroom. \r\n\r\nI was able to hear students designing, collaborating, and experimenting with different ideas. These bins are fostering spatial awareness and geometry ideas in my students. They have explored kinetic sand, rice, beans, play coins, sink or float activities, and many others. The students love the sturdy design and the lids. They are able to help with clean up easily and keep items within the contained area. \r\n\r\nMy students were so excited to see the bins and try to guess what might be in them. I change them a few times a month. As Spring comes along, we plan on using a couple of the bins to help us grow seed starts to plant in our outdoor learning center.
