I teach in a lower income, public High School (Marysville Pilchuck High) in Marysville WA. My classes, are for Special Education students for Math and Personal Finance in grades 9-11.\r\n\r\nYour contribution helped provide the students with necessary materials to get their work done. The pencils, help daily so that they can do their classwork. The colored pencils help when they have to do graphing and other activities where color is helpful. Sometimes, students will use these to underline directions in an assignment. \r\n\r\nThe copy paper is always appreciated, as with school budgets being cut, the school could not provide paper to the teachers. Last year, we started school, without any paper in the entire school. I vowed then.\\, that I would never allow this to impact my students again.\r\n\r\nLastly, the snacks, Cheez-it crackers help students that sometimes come to school without eating. I always have snacks in my room, and these were a welcome addition. Since we all know that a hungry child cannot learn effectively.\r\n\r\nThanks again for the generous contribution. It will be put to good use.","fullyFundedDate":1756778013194,"projectUrl":"project/help-math-make-sense/9447981/","projectTitle":"Help Math Make Sense","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Erickson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10034409"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_101548","usesÐǿմ«Ã½":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":1165,"numTeachers":56,"percentFrplEligible":77,"percentAsian":5,"percentBlack":3,"percentWhite":39,"percentIndigenous":5,"percentLatinx":33,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"20.8:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_MIDSIZE"},"inStateSupporters":88.9,"schoolId":101548,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Marysville Pilchuck High School on @Ðǿմ«Ã½:","schoolName":"Marysville Pilchuck High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/washington/marysville-school-district-25/marysville-pilchuck-high-school/101548"}
